Description:

Small, erect plant with a wooly stem. Thin, blade shaped leaves. Spiked flower head with small white flowers. Hairy seeds produced.

Habitat:

Cedar Creek County Park, New York. Growing in sandy soil in a little used area.

Notes:

Really neat flower head!
