Description:

Four-winged, large (about 5 cm) dragonfly. This one is a male (you can tell by his white body, the female is darker in colour, females also have different wing patterns). Translucent wings with dark brown bands.

Habitat:

Found throughout North America, near ponds and other bodies of water.

Notes:

Feed on insects.
