Cicadidae
Cicadas, of family Cicadidae Westwood, 1840, superfamily Cicadoidea, suborder Auchenorrhyncha, are related to leafhoppers and spittlebugs. Their eyes are prominent, though not especially large, and set wide apart on the anterior lateral corners of the frons. The wings are well-developed, with conspicuous veins. Cicadas live in temperate-to-tropical climates. They are widely recognized mainly due to their large size and unique sound. (Wikipedia) It's called Kuliglig in Tagalog, a name it shares with crickets.
