Whats nicer than walking down a country lane on a beautiful summers day listening to a little Yellowhammer sing its heart out from the top of a nearby tree?! These lovely Yellow birds from the bunting family come to Britain to breed but due to a decline in species in the country they are Red listed by the RSPB.
seen on a lane near Brockadale nature reserve which is owned by the Yorkshire wildlife trust.
see link for an Audio of song and also Red list status.
