Description:

This damselfly is distinguished by its large size with the male being 45 mm in length and its very long abdomen. The outside tip of the wing also has a light-colored vein barely seen in this photograph. The cerci help confirm the ID.

Habitat:

Pond edges into nearby upland areas.
