Description:

Small upright shrub. Leaves egg-shaped, with rounded tips, toothed near tip, hairless to lightly hairy. Flowers pink to rose in flat-topped cluster wider than tall, tops stem.

Habitat:

Grows in moist rocky areas such as serpentine, conifer forests, at mid to high elevations.

Notes:

Spotted on the Van Trump Park Trail at Mt. Rainier National Park.
