Spotting

Description:

Length:24mm.

Habitat:

Forests interspersed with some human habitation and farming. I observed lots of oak and chestnut trees. Cold place. Altitude: about 2,300m.

Notes:

This is one of the remotest places in Sikkim in terms of accessibility from the nearest town with basic facilities. People carried their supplies on their backs for 2 - 3 days from the nearest town till 2003. Now there is a road but only tough vehicles can reach the place.
