Description:

The bald eagle is an opportunistic feeder which subsists mainly on fish, which it swoops down and snatches from the water with its talons.

Jordan Lake, an overcast early morning during the quarterly Audubon Society eagle count

Thanks, Jacob. Those are actually osprey in the nest behind the eagle. The one lower down the tree had just caught a fish also (and didn't share it with the one sitting on the nest!)
