Romualdo's Ground Beetle / Romualdov špiljski trčak

Laemostenus cavicola romualdi

Description:

Endemic to Istrian Peninsula and Kvarner Gulf. The name of subspecies what given in the honor of the Romualdo's cave where it was found. That is the only species of ground beetle that lives in this cave. It is said that it feeds on Guano feces from bats.
