Description:

Unusual moth of 2 cm in length with the hind wings triangular shaped. Family Geometridae, possibly of the genus Macaria.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.

Thank you Juan Carlos. It looks the closest to those in the genus Macaria, but I really just don't know so I guess I will put it as a possible Macaria.
