Common Silverline Butterfly

Cigaritis vulcanus


Small butterfly with diagonal patterns that look like irregular thick stripes. If you look closely there are blue dots inside the orangey stripes. It has tails too.


Retired for the evening on the stem of ornamental hedges in Hazarduari Palace, Murshidabad district.

Notes: I found two different names for Genus but went with Wikipedia, anyway.
