No reason for sorry! I also had difficulties to see all the details and even more difficulties to offer another candidate. But I would also try first Nymphalidae, then maybe going to some moths...

Close at first sight, but shouldn't have the Buckeye cat a yellowish/brownish had? This one's is black.
