Luna Moth

Description:

All green moth with two eyes on the forewings and two on the underwings. The abdomen is all white except a little yellow patch near the head. Legs are a dark red, and feet are tan. Males have large antenna, and females are larger in size compared to males.

Attracted by lights.

Notes:

This male was very calm and let me handle him with ease. This is the 4th and final 'big' moth I found in the Smoky Mountains.
