Geometrid Moth possibly Mottled Opal

Chloropteryx opalaria

Description:

The subfamily Geometrinae is represented worldwide, and includes dozens of genera of small green moths. The genus Chloropteryx is distributed from the USA to Bolivia and Brazil. The wing shape is fairly consistent across the genus. There are also several plain green species with only obscure wavy lines across the wings.

Habitat:

This species is found in cloudforest at elevations between about 400-1500m.

Geometridae, Geometrinae, Chloropteryx sp. and looks like being Chloropteryx opalaria.
