Habitat:

Pond on mountain airfield at 3,700' (1,130 metres) with scattered bushes.

I'm also not 100% but if you look at pic 2 there is evidence of transverse dark lines running across the white borders and these are not present on the Common Blue - see the "Similar species" section near the bottom of this page http://www.ukbutterflies.co.uk/species.p... Mine seems to be midway between the two.
