Black Tortoise Beetle

Cassidinae sp.

Description:

I Found this amazing Beetle in a sapling, along with other 8 of its same species, they are pretty well adapted to its environment, they have those little plusy feet templates that help them support its weight! also, I notice it has some short fur along its shell! amazing!! I have take notice of this species also in Brazil.

Habitat:

NeoTropical Rainforest

Notes:

Spotted at a little rural town "Restrepo"
