Manduca sexta
This hornworm has become prey to parasitoid wasps
Found on tomato plant
Hi, Deanna. Manduca quinquemaculatus has white v-shaped markings on its sides and the caterpillar in your photo has diagonal lines. I think it may be Manduca sexta, the Carolina sphinx moth caterpillar.
