Description:

Mediterranean Gulls have blacker hoods than Black-headed Gulls, which can vary from dark brown to pale brown. The wingtips of the Mediterranean Gulls are white, while they are black in the Black-headed Gulls. The differences can be seen in the first Picture which includes Black-headed Gulls on the right.

Habitat:

Coastal marshes.
