Mesosemia asa is a species of butterfly of the family of the splendor butterflies (Riodinidae), subfamily Riodininae.
hahaha, so true Leonardo... several of the butterflies in Central America were like that. A dull brown outside, but when they opened their wings, a gorgeous, electric blue!
If she didn't open her wing, no one would ever know the beauty she hides! Gorgeous!
