Luciola anceyi
It is a firefly alright but i dont know which species or subspecies it is... it is found all-over rural bangladesh It glows if it kept i a dark place but when in sufficient light it glows a little only when it is disturbed

not sure if it is Luciola 'anceyi' because i think it is a Japanese firefly and im in bangladesh
