Gumtree hopper

Description:

While trying to capture moth pics these very small hoppers kept crashing into the area attracted to bright lights. Approximately 6mm long. They had an unusual 'sheen' making colours range from bronze to blue depending on the viewing andle. Eyes seemed pink-red under a pink 'head' Later at home I also noticed an unusual 'friend' top-right in pic 3.

Habitat:

Under very bright lights at the local school.

Notes:

Looks like yet another species of tree-hopper... .yet to search for species.
