Description:

Scarab of about 13mm body length. Glossy black with pale markings on elytra margins; three distinct ridges running down the length of elytra; sides and legs are covered in white hairs.

Habitat:

Found in 'El Cimatario', a national park in semi-arid area just outside the city. The rainy season is now in full swing and many animals are venturing out.
