Description:

The Four-lined Ameiva or Four-lined Whiptail (Ameiva quadrilineata) is a species of whiptail lizard found in western Panama, Costa Rica, and southeast Nicaragua. Brown coloured with four light lines running down the back. Similar species, Ameiva festiva. Lives in open habitats. Juveniles have metallic-blue tails.
