Yellow green fruit. It looks like it was triangular shape before it opened. It has thick yellow outer leaves that have popped open. Smells delicious, mango like.

Habitat:

Notes:

I want to eat it! It smells soooo good. If anyone knows if I can please let me know.

Why is this in the “Life and Mathematics” mission? I think it might not quite fit with the purpose of that mission.

Hahaha No not at all! I have to agree that is a great looking fruit. I guess I have to go and try one one of these days on Saba!

Yes Leuba. I thought I would post these after I found this fruit/flower under the tree on the floor.

You must have some lovely tropical fruit trees in your garden, Scott.
Muckpuk, those added pics are great- the flowers /fruits appear well protected.

Yes that's right. I've got one in my fridge right now, off of the tree in the link I sent. :-)

Thank you Leuba. Thanks for the ID Scott, I checked out your links (with the very slow internet that is available on this island ;-)) and it is the same thingy. I guess I have to wait until its fruit before i can eat it. :-)
