Description:

Difficult in this location to reliably separate from Lesser Black-backed Gull during winter as overlapping variants of both and several sub-species occur here. Yellow-legged does not have a mottled head in winter but some fairly obvious Lesser Black-backs have already lost the mottling.

Habitat:

Coastal town.
