I spotted a few smoky jungle frogs each night I hiked in Rio Claro reserve. They let me get surprisingly close without moving.

I didn't know that the let our a scream. Might have to test that...not! I just saw your spotting of it, pretty wild.
Apparently they let out quite a scream when picked up. "Ours" let us approach within half a meter or so. I am not planning to try to pick one up! (Did you see my pic of a snake eating one of these?)
