Zographus aulicus
Size in picture 4. Great looking antennas. When he left the area of the spotting, he flew quite high up in the air in a 45 degree angle.
Urban area, on a pillar to a house.
Today's miracle is more car-related for me. I have seen my engine in tiny little pieces... Not so sure that it will ever start again! And I am not going to give the cockroaches and mosquitoes in my room the honor of being photographed!
But I will bring nature related wonders four you to ID soon enough :D
Welcome! Sometimes I am quite good for a daily miracle... Now, you have to catch the miracle of today ;-)...
Thank you for solving a mystery! I have very low expectations on getting ID on the longhorns I find. I think you did a small miracle Bayucca!
Cerambycidae, Lamiinae, Sternotomini, Zographus sp. and most probably Zographus aulicus.

Looks almost like this one. Maybe just a different species.

Spectacular. I often wonder what the view is like with those wrap-around eyes and antennae coming from the middle... must be weird... I'll get some chop-sticks and try it.
