Calvisia punctulata
One of the most striking Phasmid I came across during this trip to Mulu National Park. Unlike most Phasmids, the Female stands out in her bright color. Mostly yellow including her wings, but with blue spots in her wings and blue on top of femur part of all legs. Surprisingly, the Male is totally boring in color, mostly brown with black stripes on his legs. Usually in most Phasmids, it is the Males that has bright colors but in this specie, it is totally the opposite.
Tropical rain forest.
