Description:

Fairly tall growing wildflower. Hairless stem that is green or sometimes slightly purplish. Large green leaves have small spikes along the edges. Dandelion-like flowers. Plant produces a white sap when damaged. Native to Eurasia and North Africa and considered a noxious weed in many areas.

Habitat:

Suburban yard (disturbed area)

Notes:

Has been used as an edible wild green and medicinally.
