Tringa totanus
Three bird species together, the Redshank is on the left with a Black-tailed Godwit in the centre and a Black-headed Gull on the right. As the tide slowly rises they move up the slope to stay in the shallows but eventually the waders will be forced to fly away to a roosting site for perhaps 2-3 hours while the Gulls will be happy to float for a few hours.
