Harlequin sweetlips (juvenile)

Plectorhinchus chaetodonoides

Description:

It can reach about 70 cm in lenght. Juveniles are brown with large white blotches and mimic the movement of a poisonous flatworm for defence against predators.

Habitat:

Native to the tropical Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean.
