Purple-spored Puffball

Calvatia cyathiformis

Description:

They have purplish-brown spores. It was roughly the size of a softball. It had brown, somewhat scaly skin.

Habitat:

Grassy area near some trails and a transfer site.

Notes:

Pure white inside and actually edible until the inside starts turning yellow, purple, or brown, which means the spores are maturing
