Cedar Waxwing

Bombycilla cedrorum

Description:

While camping at a local park, I had the pleasure of watching the cedar waxwings working on a nest up in this big tree (last image). They would land in the trees and on the ground and pull pieces of soft bark and grass (?) and then return to the nest and weave it in.

Habitat:

Campground surrounded by temperate forest. Blydenburgh County Park, NY.
