Might be an escaped pet or from a zoo

Also a male should have a longer and fuller tail compared to a female. Tails do provide clues.

Female Peacock also beautiful, but lacks extravagant tail. Neck also brown colour like back. But if observe carefully females also beautiful. In Rajasthan state of India Peacocks find free wandering everywhere. Nice to watch day long.

male is always beautiful than female. At all its India's national bird at all. To study Peacocks must stay at least 1 week in Rajasthan state of India. Male only has extravagant tail of colourful long shining feathers.

I thought maybe because males has this long and beautiful tail, and females don't.

in such a situation they would weigh the peafowl.
Males always weigh more than 4kgs and females are mostly less than 4 kgs.
