This female Argiope aemula is heavily gravid and has created a slightly ragged One-armed Discontinuous Cruciate Stabilimentum. I think that she will produce an egg sac sometime soon, possibly in the next 24 hours. I will be on the lookout and when I see it, I will be making regular visits until the hatchlings emerge.
