Thanks! Ashish, this bird is on the beach on the Gulf of Mexico. But, the Sarasota Bay has some neat birds, too.

They are still doing fine and I discovered another nest with one egg 2 days ago.The egg pic is posted.

I love these guys! I'm a chick checker on Siesta Beach...we've had 3 nests so far and all the eggs destroyed: crows, people, water inundation. There's now a new one with 3 eggs being incubated. They're a threatened species.
