Trashline Orbweaver

Cyclosa sp.

Description:

This Cyclosa sp. has already accumulated some "trash" for its web decoration and its web was in a position which allowed the sunlight to reflect fairly well on the bottom half of its orb web. I decide to show the two bottom quadrants separately. Showing the entire bottom half of the web in one photo would have made the spider too small.

Habitat:

Spotted in the farm on a Lemon Tree (Citrus sp.). This web was just about 5 or 6 ft, up from the ground.
