Large moth found attracted to outdoor lights at cabin near lake. Was different shades of gray with purple/brown "eyes" on metathoracic wings.
Near lake fourteen in minnesota.
Maybe a Cerisy's Sphinx (Smerinthus cerisyi)? Beautiful coloration, whatever it is!
