Notes:

With the sun shining through in the 2nd and 4th pics, you can see this unhatched caterpillars inside the eggs. 6th pic is the newly laid eggs. never saw the culprit. 5 days after they were laid these eggs began hatchng into tiny caterpillars that devoured all the shells before dispersing into the unknown.
