Description:

Small, oval shaped plums which turn a lovely yellow when ripe. In the UK they are referred to as Marabella`s and in Turkey as Erics.

Habitat:

The trees are quite small and can be found in hedgerows and roadside verges.

Notes:

In Turkey and some other European countries the plums are eaten when still hard, green and sour tasting.
