House Sparrow

Description:

This female house sparrow is a regular visitor to my Mother-In-Laws garden as there is always a constant supply of bread crumbs or bacon rind to feast on. You can recognise the female as it does not have so much colouring as the male and the female tends to be slightly thinner than the males.

Habitat:

These birds can be found all over the UK, it has been reported in recent years that there numbers have been declining here, but in East Anglia they can still be seen in large numbers.
