Flower Mantis

Creobroter sp.

Description:

As the common name indicates, Creobroter are known for having varicolored (yellow, white, red, brown, etc.) markings which serve as camouflage by hiding the creatures' actual shape and making them look somewhat like flowers when hiding amidst green foliage.

Habitat:

Seen on a night trail near a farm.

Very cute! It does look similar to a flower mantis but I am not sure. I would say this is a nymph. This would be a nice addition to the global mantis mission: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/1573...
