Very interesting - I've never seen a beetle like this.
yes, the liquid is a defense mechanism but I think it only works with other insects or small animals
Interesting. Is that yellow liquid it's oozing from its joints a defense mechanism, akin to blister beetles? And my second question, did you test that for yourself? :p
