Paropsine Leaf Beetle

Paropsis geographica

Description:

A reddish-brown leaf beetle with cream spots. Elytra were pitted. The wiggly pale patterns on the outer margins of the pronotum gave it a scalloped look. The beetle would have been about 14 mm long.

Habitat:

Spotted on Manna Gum ( E.viminalis)

Notes:

Family: Chrysomelidae
