Fulmarus glacialis
Extremely common seabird in the North Atlantic, but very rarely seen from land. Medium sized gull with a gentle face and "stubby" wings. Snowy white with grey or brown wings and back, a black smudge around the eyes. Some individuals are completely brown.
Found in both North Atlantic and Pacific
Though we saw these lovely guys everywhere, the majority of these photos were taken off the coast of Foula Island, one of the Shetland Islands

Yes, I really did love the fulmars! They followed our boat for almost the whole 5 weeks, and they have such gentle, cute faces!
Second picture is very fantastic...of this adorable bird..!!
Very optimistic expressions..!!

:-)
Thank you, it was a very special moment!
Lovely video, there are countless of birds.
I added a video to this spotting! The video shows the surreal morning off the coast of Foula Island when our boat was surrounded by hundreds of birds. Each white spot is a bird! And that weird mountain in the distance is Foula.
Thanks :)
Wow
Thank you Karen!
