Peacock Jumping Spider

Description:

Gorgeous little jumping spider with iridescent aqua/peacock blue and black stripes. Less than 1cm total length. Very active.

Habitat:

Suburban subtropical garden. Fell on me from a magnolia tree. Very jumpy.

Notes:

I’ve never seen one of these before, and it was a brilliant addition to my day of music odes to nature.
