White Wood-aster

Eyrybia divericata

Habitat:

sunny space between tall hemlocks, hickory and oak, not growing in the forest in too low light here

Notes:

Common ground cover in our area IF YOU STOP MOWING IT ALL DOWN. This beautiful thing covers everything knee high. It is visited SIGNIFICANTLY MORE Than over priced "garden" flowers late in the year when it blooms. Nice ground cover too. It particularly looks nice around "yard shrubs" we had on the property on arrival.
