Labdia deliciosella
A brown and yellow moth with a wing span of about 20 mm. The brown areas of the wings had thin pale blue streaks. The trailing edge of the wings were fringed and black. Labial palps were re-curved. Legs banded and thin bands also seen on swept-back antennae.
Spotted in a suburban garden.
The larvae of these moths bore into stems of Acacia and also aphid galls on Malus apples.
