Description:

Small butterfly with dark brown and orange markings, featuring a yellowish patch in the middle of its hindwings.

Habitat:

Deciduous forest alongside a small stream. I spotted this butterfly in "Paul Spring Park," one of seven small parks in the community of Hollin Hills, Fairfax County, Virginia USA.
