Peltigera membranacea
This leafy lichen grows in moist forest\wetland habitats on logs, trees, rocks and soil. I usually find it among moss. The underside has a white cortex with long tendrils.
Spotted on a rotting log in a wetland. Mixed forest.

Thanks Brian. Great spotting.
Thank you Maria. The fall rains have here in Washington have really given the lichens and fungus a fresh look. I've posted this before. But of course I'm always looking for new ones.
What a nice spotting - not like the lichen I'm used to seeing!
